Usage Instructions
π New Features Since September 2025
TwinPlay cameras now support important new functionalities:
- π± Offline recording: The camera can record even without internet connection
- β οΈ Memory management: Be careful not to exceed ~15 hours of recording in offline mode to avoid saturating device memory
- π Complete mobile app configuration: All settings now manageable from the app
- ποΈ Live view: View in real-time what the camera is focusing on directly from the mobile app
Positioningβ
- Place the tripod approximately at mid-court, outside the sideline.
- Extend the tripod, ensuring that the central tube does not touch the ground (only the three tripod feet should be in contact with the surface).
- Verify that the USB cable is connected both to the camera and the processing unit.
- Extend the three sections of the tripod to reach the maximum height and direct the camera towards the basket.
Powering Onβ
- Connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet. The unit will automatically turn on. If the unit was already plugged in but had been turned off using the button, you can turn it back on using the button.
- In about 1 minute, the unit will boot up, and the light button will start blinking regularly.
If the indicator light shows a different state, check Indicator States for more information.
Mobile App
Download the TwinPlay mobile app to monitor camera status, see live stream, and manage WiFi networks even during recording.
Recording Modesβ
π Online recording (standard mode)β
- Camera automatically uploads videos to the cloud during recording
- Requires stable WiFi connection
- Unlimited cloud storage
π± Offline recording (since September 2025)β
- Camera can record even without internet connection
- Videos are saved to the device's internal memory
- β οΈ Important limit: Approximately 15 hours of recording maximum before saturating memory
- Videos will be automatically uploaded to cloud when connection is restored
Memory management in offline mode
Always monitor available space when recording offline:
- Use the mobile app to check used space
- Very long sessions might fill the device memory
- Once the limit is reached, the camera will stop recording
- Connect to WiFi regularly to free up space by uploading videos to cloud
Trainingβ
- Have all the players who will take part in the session line up in front of the camera (approximately on the three-point line closest to the camera).
- Train as usual.
Ending the Sessionβ
- At the end of the training session, hold down the button for 1 second until the light becomes steady. The unit will stop recording, finish uploading the video, and automatically shut down.
- Once the indicator light has turned off, you can turn off the WiFi network and unplug the power.
Note
For consecutive training sessions with different players, it is recommended to separate sessions by briefly pressing the button.
In this case, the light will turn off for a few seconds and then start blinking again.
This ensures the previous session is closed, and a new one starts correctly.
